Cognitive Hypnotherapy. The first question almost everyone outside the field asks is, "what exactly is cognitive hypnotherapy?" In simple terms, hypnotherapy is the treatment of psychological and emotional conditions, habits and feelings through the use of hypnosis. It aims to assist individuals in finding meaningful alternatives to their current patterns of thinking, behaviour and feelings.

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) was developed in California, USA back in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. They produced a model of human behaviour by combining their expertise in linguistics, computer science and mathematics. The result was NLP which focuses on how people learn, communicate, change, grow and think. All behaviour has structure and therefore NLP practitioners can help a wide range of people by helping them communicate better with others and to assist them in gaining greater control over the automatic functions of their own neurology.
